Mesquite Police Department is currently searching for teenagers who have been recorded attacking two staff members of a 7-Eleven store, who refused to sell a cigar to an underage girl. The incident happened on Saturday night at Faithon P. Lucas Boulevard 7-Eleven store. According to Fox News reports, the girl left the store after not being sold the tobacco product and returned with several other young people who then proceeded to attack both employees. Police have confirmed the video circulating on social media is from this incident, showing the girl yelling at one of the clerks and some members of the group hopping over the counter and hitting the clerk, while others hurled store items at the staff members.
The attack led to both staff members sustaining facial injuries, and they refused medical attention when police arrived at the store. Currently, the police department has not made any arrests.
